e.g. on Fridays?
Helsinki Every Night Skates are skated around Helsinki every fair day. You are welcome to join us – let us to give You a Helsinki sightseeing on in-line wheels! Helsinki Every Night Skates started spontaneously when local skaters began to meet daily at a standard location. Today the meeting point is the Paavo Nurmi statue near the Olympic Stadium. Weekdays we meet at 6 pm and on weekends and public holidays at 1 pm. The skating distance is chosen to match Your interest and experience. |
Please note: Because these tours are based only on an establised practice to meet at a certain time at a certain place, it is possible that no skaters arrive to the meeting point some day – read tips for avoiding "wrong" days. We recommend Wednesday and weekend starts to avoid "no skaters this time". Skating is at your own risk. We heavily recommend you to take your helmet with you.
