FinLine 2007 will be skated in
the beginning of July. It will start from the coastal winds of the
Finnish Gulf ending to the center of the lake district of Finland, in
the city of Mikkeli. The day trips vary from 60 to
84 km, and the total is around 410 km. If you know that you are able to
skate these kinds of day trips six
days in a row, we recommend you to fill in the
FinLine registration form as soon as
possible.
Because we want to keep FinLine an intimate and cosy event and the quality of the accommodations as high as possible, the maximum amount of the participants is 30. We are happy that the amount of our international participants has increased during the years, and we welcome all nationalities to join us. The places will be booked in the order the applications are received. However, those who have been members of Street Gliders club in 2006 (last year) are privileged to join FinLine 2007 if they register before March. There will surely be places left for very many newcomers, too.
Click here for more information on dates and registration. Do not hesitate or waste your time, but register as soon as possible! You will not regret it.

The route starts from Vaalimaa, the primary customs and border-crossing between EU and Russia, and continues along the coast to Kotka. From Kotka we skate to the North-West heading ourselves towards Lake Päijänne. The tour will end finally in the city of Mikkeli.
You can see the route also in the free Google Earth application: download the route (KMZ) here. Note: The route on Google Earth is preliminary and the details will not match to the final skating route.

The exact day schedule and additional program depend on the skaters themselves.

Street Gliders will not profit anything about the event. Everybody pays for their accommodation and meals on the spot and the travel and service car costs will be covered with the registration fees.
Hotels and meals are paid directly to the service provider. 200–250 ¤ is enough for hotels and meals during FinLine. The final costs depend on the amount of the participants. So, if the estimated registration fee (50 ¤) for the service and travel expenses is too much in relation to the amount of participants, the excess money will be used for the skaters!
When your registration has been confirmed (not earlier than March
1st for newcomers), you need to pay the Street Gliders' membership
fee (25 ¤) and the registration fee of FinLine (50 ¤). If you have not
agreed otherwise with us, pay them well before the deadline using the
following banking details*:
| Recipient: |
Katukiitäjät ry. c/o Punavuoren Antiikki Rauhankatu 26 FI-00170 Helsinki |
| SWIFT (BIC) code: | NDEAFIHH |
| IBAN account number: |
FI25 2185 1800 0329 49 |

Note: FinLine skaters are not insured by Street Gliders. Please check carefully that your insurances cover skating in Finland. Helmet must be always worn when skating on FinLine (no excuses).
* In the Euro area you can transfer money to Finland without any extra costs (compared to a domestic bank transfer) if you specify our SWIFT code and IBAN number correctly.
